Wallet tier

The identity level on a mobile money account, which sets the ceiling on what it can receive.

Also written: KYC tier, wallet limit

Every mobile wallet in Ghana sits at one of three identity levels, and each level carries a limit on what can arrive in a day and what the balance may hold. The lowest level also carries a monthly ceiling, and the monthly one is the ceiling that actually stops a large payout: splitting a win across consecutive days does not get around a monthly figure.

This is set by the central bank, not by a bookmaker, which is why it is the only cashier fact on this domain that applies to all thirteen entries at once. An operator can advertise a payout ceiling far above what a customer's wallet can legally receive, and both statements are true at the same time.

The way past it is not a different bookmaker. It is either upgrading the wallet, which removes the monthly ceiling entirely at the two higher levels, or taking a large payout to a bank account, which is the one route the wallet tiers do not touch and the reason a bank rail matters in a market where nobody uses it to deposit.
